Journalism

As an avid reader of Michigan's student publications, I noticed a lack of journalism that devoted to the diverse array of individual students and their accomplishments. Thus, I co-created a monthly column called RADAR for the arts and culture digital magazine SHIFT, to capture the various niches around our university. Each subject we spotlight is part of a unique campus subculture, and has a distict aesthetic, style, and story. The column has a multimedia component, incoporating photos and video interviews. We hope that RADAR will inspire, while highlighting just some of the remarkable achievements of our student body. Click the image to view.
